Kerwen and Dashawn were recently recognized by Nassau BOCES for passing their exams and officially receiving their New York State Barbering Licenses!
This incredible milestone is a perfect testament to the importance of providing diverse career and technical education (CTE) pathways. When we equip students with hands-on skills and real-world opportunities, there is no limit to what they can achieve straight out of high school.
Join us in celebrating Kerwen and Dashawn for their hard work, hustle, and sharp skills. We can’t wait to see where their talent takes them next!
I apologize for the repeated messages, but due to the inclement weather, the parade has been canceled. Apologies again.

I hope that you are having a wonderful morning. Today, around 8 a.m., Lawrence Road students and staff were evacuated due to an electrical smell. One of our electrical pump's malfunctioned and triggered our fire alarm system. Students were safely evacuated and have re-entered the building after clearance from our Hempstead Fire Department. The safety and well being of our students and staff remain paramount. Thank you.
I hope that all is well. I would like to let you know that our PTSA are selling graduation lawn signs. If interested, the link below. The window to purchase will close soon, so hurry. Thank you.
